The first week of 2012 has been very busy. FODA has commitments for 66 animals in the first 2 weeks of January. Our goal is to rescue 50 animals per month from DeKalb Animal Services but we may actually break our monthly record for any month since our inception in July of 2010. It costs $175 to vet and transport each animal to safety in our approved northeast rescue groups. We are in dire need of donations to fund all of the animals that we have commitments to this month.
