June has been a difficult month for us here at FODA. On the last transport in May, our transporter’s vehicle limped home on its last leg. After several recent repairs to the vehicle which had over 500,000 miles on it, this time it was not worth what the repair bill would have cost. After an exhustive search, there is now a new (used) transport vehicle and we are leaving with our one and only transport of June on Friday the 29th. We thank all of our dedicated supporters and now that we are up and running again, we look forward to working even harder to make up for the animals that did not get out to rescue in June….
