Friends of DeKalb Animals is expanding our reach!  Lifeline Animal Project is now responsible for the management of DeKalb Animal Services.  This has provided us with an opportunity to expand our lifesaving mission into other communities where euthanasia rates remain high.  Many other animal control facilities in  metro Atlanta area have virtually no support to save their animals.  One of the facilities we will be working with is Henry County animal control.  We are seeking both foster homes and veterinarians closer to these more rural shelters so that we can more effectively manage our costs.  We will continue to save animals in DeKalb but feel that it is time for us to reach out to others as well.
