March 2016 TransportsOur transport on March 5th started off great, with 25 dogs headed to new lives in NY and NJ but unfortunately became very complicated along the way. Literally half way through the journey, the van had a fuel line blow, leaving our transporters and dogs stranded in rural Virginia. A tow truck ride, help from some wonderful people, and several rentals later, the dogs were delivered safely and our transporters made it home. Our van is still in a shop in VA and we incurred many expenses along the way. Please help us cover these unexpected costs, anything raised over our goal will go towards the purchase of a new vehicle: https://www.youcaring.com/friends-of-dekalb-animals-536181 To see photos of all the dogs on our March 5th transport, click on the photo of Bear aka Stevie Wonder below!
